Video Surveillance Systems, LLC is an Electronic Services organization focusing on the growing need for security in businesses. Our roots go back to 1972.

Joe Reiter, a retired Chicago Police Detective, started in the alarm industry while still an active duty police officer. Joe recognized a need in the early years that the police cannot be everywhere all the time so Joe formed his first alarm/security company in 1972.

Joe was in the first class of licensed alarm contractors in the state of Illinois. Joe continues today to be very active in the industry and serves as a consultant for Video Surveillance Systems, LLC to this day.

Jeff Girven, the president of Video Surveillance Systems, LLC, is a 30 year veteran of the security industry. Jeff started his career in the security industry in 1980 as an installer and has worked in all the aspects of the industry.

Jeff brings not only strong business acumen to the organization but passion for what is right: making sure that Video Surveillance Systems, LCC has a customer focus.
